The Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant, Additional Needs (Single Pupil) with Lunchtime Supervisor responsibilities to join our team of highly professional support staff. You will be required to work, under guidance, to provide support in addressing the needs of a pupil who requires particular help to overcome barriers to learning.


During Lunchtime the successful person will work as part of a team to supervise the children during the school lunch break. The role will include supporting pupils in lunchtime play activities, promoting positive pupil behaviour, assisting the pupils with table manners, administering first aid and the setting up and clearing away of dining room equipment such as chairs and tables.


The role is linked to funding and is currently for 15.75 hours, working pattern Monday-Friday 12:00pm-1:00pm as Lunchtime Supervisor and working 1:00pm-3:15pm in the capacity of Teaching Assistant.


Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of working with children who have a range of difficulties.
