The Role


As a Catering Coordinator, you'll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team, contributing to a positive and friendly work environment. Your hard work will be recognised and rewarded, making it an excellent chance to advance in a supportive setting.


You will work as part of a team under the direction of the Catering Manager at Wolgarston High School and The Rural Enterprise Academy in Penkridge providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for our students and staff.  


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
  • Crafting eye-catching food and counter displays that draw customers in
  • Handling transactions with ease and operating the cash register efficiently
  • Upholding the highest standards of Food Handling & Hygiene
  • Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to Health & Safety regulations
  • Direct and/or supervise other employees 
  • Order supplies and store deliveries


What we are looking 

  • Experience of catering 
  • Knowledge of food service and catering in general
  • Organisational, cost control and supervisory skills


Working Hours/Days:

  • Monday to Friday (10:00 - 14:30)
  • Term time only Plus 6 cleaning Days per year.
  • 20hrs hours per week,
